How To Be Funny

How to be funny!

The last thing that i want to claim is that i am an expert at humour or being funny because I am not, however over the last year i have improved my sense of humour a hell of a lot and a lot of times people kind of ask me how i did it or for some tips.

Well while i was really reluctant to give tips on something i didn’t feel i was an expert on, i know that i learned a few things from the experts that really helped me improve and i wanted to share these and share the resources that i learned from,

So check this video out where i cover how to be funny, the reasons to do it, how (overview), the types of humour and the major resources that i tried and learned from on how to be funny,
Sorry it can’t be extremely long, Youtube only allows 10 min videos
Enjoy the video and please let me know if this was useful.

Jim Rohn Part 1 of 2 – Jim Rohn Tribute Video

As i write this, I am truly truly saddened!
Jim Rohn was in my eyes one of the greatest speakers, trainers or authors i had ever had the pleasure of learning from.
His teachings have inspired me, motivated me, made me laugh, made me take action and become a better person in my life.
He taught me to make contributions to others and gave me knowledge to help others make changes.
He inspired a huge drive in me and in many of the people i have taught, trained or even learned from.
If you have ever followed me on twitter or facebook, you will no doubt have heard me quote him.
His famous lines will always be timeless and his loss is truly a loss to us all. My thoughts are with everyone whose life he has touched, whether they learned from him directly or from one of his CD’s / DVD’s or even if they just got inspired by one of his quotes and took action.
He was a constant source of inspiration for me and he is one of the only people whose courses i have listened to again and again and again.

Anthony Robbins – How To Get Rich

Just in case you have not heard of Anthony Robbins:

According to Wikipedia:

Anthony Robbins (born February 29, 1960) is an American self-help writer and professional speaker who has been active for over 30 years.
He became well known through his infomercials and bestselling self-help books, Unlimited Power: The New Science Of Personal Achievement and Awaken The Giant Within. The first edition of Unlimited Power was published in 1987.
Robbins writes about subjects such as health and energy, overcoming fears, persuasive communication, and enhancing relationships.

And taken from his website:

For the past three decades, Anthony Robbins has served as an advisor to leaders around the world. A recognized authority on the psychology of leadership, negotiations, organizational turnaround, and peak performance, he has been honored consistently for his strategic intellect and humanitarian endeavors.
His nonprofit Anthony Robbins Foundation provides assistance to inner-city youth, senior citizens, and the homeless, and feeds more than two million people in 56 countries every year through its international holiday “Basket Brigade.” Robbins has directly impacted the lives of more than 50 million people from over 100 countries with his best-selling books, multimedia and health products, public speaking engagements, and live events.

Robbins has been honored by Accenture as one of the “Top 50 Business Intellectuals in the World”; by Harvard Business Press as one of the “Top 200 Business Gurus”; by American Express as one of the “Top Six Business Leaders in the World” to coach its entrepreneurial clients; by Forbes as a Top 100 Celebrity; by Justice Byron White as one of the world’s “Outstanding Humanitarians”; and by the International Chamber of Commerce as one of the top 10 “Outstanding People of World.”

This is an audio from Anthony Robbins that explains the concept of compounding and giving people a simple plan to master their financial future.
I heard this a while ago and applied it, it is a long term plan and makes a lot of sense. A little tip in there also helped me out when the financial crisis hit!
Otherwise i might have lost a lot- very sound – doable advice without crazy risks. Saying that, this is a more longterm plan.
Enjoy :)
