I have just added the wordpress for blackberry application to my… (Yup you guessed it), my blackberry. Anyhow the application is still in the beta (testing) phases, but seems to be working great now…
The truth is I actually installed the previous two versions and they hated me as much as I hated them ( only because they wouldn’t work and since I am not an uber technical person: other than throwing the phone against the wall I had no more ideas).
The iphone app is actually further ahead in this regard and has finished the testing phase ages ago…
I have personally wanted the blog on the blackberry because I feel if I was going to do this properly, I would prefer a keyboard!
Still the iphones 65000 applications tells us it is still a first springboard for all mobile software!

Anyhow I had a really tough/ non existent beginning with this software but
Now life is sweet, login, password, then write your post… Which is what I am doing… In fact from my mobile phone just as a test, but why make it too short? Let’s test it properly!
If you are technology savvy or want to be- just realize that the future of the internet is moving to the mobile phone, more and more people will be using phones to browse the net in 2010 then other mediums.
Why do you think twitter has grown so much in the last year? Because it is designed for the mobile internet user! Do you know that all forms of traditional advertising have steeply declined in the last year, tv, radio, magazines (all at least 8%) and yet digital forms of media (online and mobile have risen significantly (9% online and 16% on mobile).
So ultimately me getting my blackberry and applications like this, is just about getting used to how digital media will manifest in 2010.
Anyhow hope you enjoyed the ramblings of a wannabe nostradamous
